Head of Communications
As the Head of Communications, you will be responsible for leading a team of communication specialists to create, develop, and deliver communications strategies and services within and external to Whaikaha that are truly accessible.
You will be responsible for the big picture strategic direction of communications for Whaikaha. You'll be able to set the course for the Whaikaha communication and engagement role and oversee it.
This is a challenging, broad ranging and exciting opportunity to lead from the front in changing the way people see and understand disability and the disability community. You will understand accessibility and be passionate about it.
You will create a powerful communications strategy that will share the perspectives and stories of disabled people within and outside of Whaikaha to support the strategic objectives of Whaikaha.
This will allow Whaikaha to build on existing and develop new relationships across the disability community to become an organisation disabled people and their whānau engage with and trust..

Principal Advisor, People and Culture
As the Principal Advisor People and Culture, you will work directly with the Manager, Corporate Services to provide key advice and day-to-day delivery of comprehensive human resource management services, including wellbeing, health and safety.
You will develop and maintain broad knowledge across all aspects of human resource management to ensure people practices support Whaikaha to achieve its strategic and operational objectives.
You will have strengths in both thinking and doing, with a well-developed understanding of the challenges and opportunities that small and diverse organisations present.

Business Coordinator, Corporate Services
As the Business Coordinator you will be part of a team providing administrative support across our small close-knit organisation. The Business Coordinator is expected to provide a range of administrative support according to the needs across the organisation.
This includes coordinating meetings and events, managing correspondence and documentation, supporting reporting requirements, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of business operations.
