New measles case highlights importance of immunisations
Te Whatu Ora have reported that a new measles case has been reported in Taranaki following international travel.

Keep an eye out for symptoms, such as a fever and a rash.
If you or a loved one has symptoms, seek medical advice urgently. Contact:

Measles is a highly infectious disease. Te Whatu Ora are encouraging whānau to check if they are immune and get their measles, mumps, rubella (MMR) vaccinations if needed.
