New Zealand Disability Strategy monitoring and reporting
A framework to measure the impact of the strategy on the lives of disabled people and tāngata whaikaha Māori has been developed.
Progress is measured at a system level across the strategy’s 5 priority areas of:
- education
- employment
- health
- housing
- justice.
Each has 4-5 primary measures to track progress towards the goal for that area as well as supporting measures that provide more detail. We also include a small number of measures to track progress towards the strategy’s overall vision and principles.
You can explore the data in the interactive dashboard below including extra breakdowns and contextual information. The data will be updated at least annually.
